BIOPHONY: DANCING NATURE

Biophony: Dancing Nature is an innovative interdisciplinary art project that explores the harmonious relationship between nature, technology, and art. Developed during the MolinoLab Residency in May 2024 in Sancti Spiritus, Salamanca, Spain, the project investigates how digital technology can capture, interpret, and express the dynamic interactions of biological systems through art. At the heart of this project is the use of SymBioWare technology, which allows for the translation of real-time biological data from plants into immersive audio-visual experiences.

All art pieces created within the Biophony: Dancing Nature project are based on a diverse range of mediums, including performance, composition, field recordings, multi-sensory archiving and documentation, and visual  programming. This approach creates a rich, layered experience that merges digital and natural elements, providing a unique exploration of the interconnectedness between the organic world and digital creativity.
